Daddy and the Innocents burst onto the LA scene in 1981 with their high energy Rock/Power Pop live shows, becoming fixtures at LA venues such as Madame Wong’s, The Palomino, Club 88, The Music Machine, Club Lingerie and FM Station. They were also college party favorites at USC, UCLA, CSUN & LAVC.
Over the years, members of Daddy and the Innocents have played and performed with numerous other musicians working on a wide variety of projects. They’ve been sidemen and songwriters. mentors and students. They have performed live theatre, and done TV and film scores. John has played with legendary acts like Aerosmith, The Allman Brothers and The Eagles.
Music Connection called their original music, ‘Sharp, clear and ‘Radio-Ready’, ‘the vocals and musicianship are top-notch.’ Musician Magazine chose them as Semi-Finalists in their ‘Best Unsigned Band Competition’.
Today Daddy and the Innocents perform at numerous clubs, bars and music venues throughout Southern California and beyond. They also ‘rock out’ at corporate events and private parties for clients from MTV, RockNation, MET Theatre Group and many others. They cater each set list specific to the type of event they are playing, creating the best possible atmosphere.
Daddy and the Innocents live shows get the crowd up and dancing. Their song list includes Classic Rock songs and hidden gems from favorites like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, ELO, Cheap Trick, The Eagles, Queen, The Who, Badfinger and Rod Stewart.
